Family headed by Thomas Kelly: 1 male <5, 1 male 5-10, 1 male 40-50, 2 females 5-10, 1 female 30-40.Families headed by John and Joseph Kelly are nearby as is the family of Christopher Wimer This corresponds to Mary (8), Samuel (7), Else (age 5-10), and Thomas (3) and Rebecca Wimer Kelly (31). Christopher Wimer is her father.
2	History of Butler County Pennsylvania 1895, page 610, indicates that Thomas Humphrey, Andrew, Edward, and James Douglass, Christopher Wimer, and, it is said, Charles Coulter, arrived [in Worth Twp., Butler Co., PA] in 1798, all except one being natives of norther Ireland. Then, on page 1240, it indicates that Christopher Wimer came from Adams Co., PA, to Butler Co., PA in 1798 and settled in Worth Twp. He married Miss Snyder of Adams Co., and together they had seven children named Samuel, John, Peter, Jonathan, William, Isaac, and Rebecca. Rebecca married Thomas Kelly.	transcript

Eight generations of the Wimer family charted, with biographical information on Christopher Wimer and his children, derived from interviews of descendants and extensive research of property deeds, military records, and wills. "Rebecca Wimer, the only daughter of Christopher and Sophia Wimer, was born on April 23, 1799, and (grew up) on the Wimer homestead in Worth Twp. In ca. 1820 she married Thomas Kelly, a pioneer settler of Worth Twp...Rebecca Kelly died on October 8, 1836, shortly after giving birth to her 7th child. the infant, named Isaac Eli Kelly, was adopted by Rebecca's brother and sister-in-law, Isaac and Mary Wimer.

Thomas Kelly died Feb 24, 186(3), aged 75 years 5 mos 14d. In memory of Rebecca Kelly who departed this life October 8 AD 11836, aged (35) years 5 months and 15 days. "Mourn not for me,I am at rest. My soul is with my Savior blest. I am from my grief and sorrow free. Prepare for death and follow me." Thomas L. Kelly born Mar.. 14, 1827, died July 19, 1895. (This is a son of Thomas & Rebecca Wimer Kelly.)
