Gravestones of Richard Hines Jr. are on the western edge of the cemetery, apart from his family plot which lies closer to that of Richard Hines Sr. The family plot has the stone of his wife Elizabeth at center. To the left of Elizabeth's stone is a stone for son George H. Hines; a broken stone for son Thomas Hines leans against that of Elizabeth, its base being to the right of hers; and to the far right, a stone for 3 yr old son Isaiah.

- The 1830 Census for Slippery Rock Twp, Butler Co, shows a Richard Hanes, with family members suitably aged to be both Richard Hines and Richard Hines Jr. males <5, 5-10 (2), 10-15, 15-20(2), 40-50, 70-80; females <5, 40-50, 70-80 (and possibly 30-40).
