Source notes
- John Edward Hagan, spouse of Martha Jane Boyle, was the step-son of Martha Jane's uncle Barnard VanZant Stoughton through Barnard's second wife, Susan Myer (Hagan) (per JIm Voltz research). Thus John Edward Hagan and Martha Jane Boyle would be unrelated, but rather like "step-cousins".
- Thomas Boyle Hagan married first to Bridget Barry. Sometime after his father's death he moved to Arkansas with his second wife, Naomi Ward (per Jim Voltz research).
