Johann Claus Diederich (1789)

NOT A DIRECT ANCESTOR Johann Claus Dietrich is not in my direct ancestry. His descendants William and Louisa Dietrich married into the Frederick family. See: Children of John Frederick and Anna Catherine Kenemuth Members of the Dietrich and Jung families immigrated from Hitzerode, Germany, to Clarion County PA, as did the Frederick family.

At his baptism,Johann Claus Diederich was noted as the 3rd son of the mayor Johann Claus Diederich. He married Elisabeth Rock, daughter of Heinrich Rock, deceased, bricklayer.
