Obituary for Uzziel B. Church. Transcribed on 5 Apr 2012 by Richard Brady Williams. This image was scanned from a photocopy sent by Tom Pearson (pearsontw@sbcglobal.net). He indicates that he received the photocopy from Margaret B. Binning on 23 Aug 1998, and that a footnote indicated that this particular printing came from the 25 Oct 1916 edition of the Clark Co., IL, newspaper found at the Clark Co. historical society. The Vigo Co., IN, public library has an obituary on file that was printed on 14 Oct 1916, the day after Uzziel's death. It is not currently known to this researcher if the text of the obituaries are the same. There are several items represented in this image; only the U. B. Church obituary is transcribed, below.

WEDNESDAY EVENING, OCTOBER 25, 1916 [NB: Vigo County Public Library indicates that this obit was published in the 14 Oct 1916 issue of the Terre Haute Tribune. The scanned image here appears to be a combination of articles pasted together, the source of the date header is unknown. It is likely that this is a reprint of the obituary in another newspaper.]
