They live with four children: daughter Elizabeth Wimer, 7; daughter Elenor Wimer, 4; son Isaac Wimer, 2; and son George Wimer, 1. Samuel Wimer is a farmer. Everyone was born in PA. They are listed as having had four children, none of whom are alive. Everyone and their parents were born in PA. Samuel is listed as a farmer. Both can read, write, and speak English. They own a farm, with mortgage.
Note: the recording that they had 4 children, 0 living, is erroneous. Five children are listed in the 1860 & 1870 census, and we know that son Isaac C. lived until 1942.

Samuel Wimer of Worth Twp. died at age 86 on Thurs. night, after a short illness due to old age. He was the son of the late Samuel & Elizabeth (Hines) Wimer, pioneers of Worth Twp.; resided all his life in the district. Survived by son Isaac Wimer who resides on the homestead, & 3 daughters, Mrs. Warren McDeavett & Mrs. James Alexander of West Liberty and Mrs. George Kelley of Keister. A brother George Wimer of Worth Twp. also survives. Funeral services at the residence Sat. 1:00 p.m. by Rev. R. G. Thomas, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal church at West Liberty; burial in West Liberty cemetery.

Funeral services for Edward L. McCleary, well known Shenandoah County merchant who died Tuesday morning at 4:15 following a long illness, will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 from the Union Forge Church. Service will be conducted by Rev. J.S. Stephens. Mr. McCleary was born 70 years ago at Diamond, Pa., where he lived until 11 years ago when he bought the store at Readus, where he has since made his home. He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel McCleary. He is survived by his wife and one daughter, Mrs. Olive Thompson, of Diamond, Pa., one brother Samuel McCleary Jr., of Pennsylvania, also survives.
