Source notes

The will of Jacob Stoughton, brother of Jane Stoughton Boyle, names a niece Catherin Boile. Catherin would therefore be born before 1841. The research of Jeanne Eichelberger names five children of Jane Stoughton Boyle, not including a Catherin. Mary C. is not Catherin, as Mary C. was born in 1862.
