1	In the 1830 Montgomery County NC census, the following Williams families have males who could have been born in 1815: Archibald Williams (pg 37): 1 male 10-15, 30-40, 2 females <5, 1 female 5-10, 1 female 30-40. David Williams (pg 1): 1 male <5, 1 male 15-20, 1 male 40-50, 1 female <5, 1 female 5-10, 1 female 30-40. Thomas Williams (pg 31): 2 males 10-15, 1 male 15-20, 1 male 40-50, 1 female 5-10, 1 female 10-15, 1 female 15-20, 1 female 40-50. The family of Wiley Scarborough lives next door to Thomas Williams. It is possible that Maxton C. Williams' family moved into the area between 1830 and 1840, but if they were already in Montgomery Co, these are the most likely families.
