Source notes

• Child Isaac Patterson appears at age 14 in the 1860 census, but is not mentioned in the 1850 census. Research needed to rule out that he could have been a child of 2nd wife Mary Cooper & adopted by Patterson.
• Childred Alvira b. 1860 and Phoebe b. 1860 are either twins, or more likely,one individual (as Alvira Phoebe, or Phoebe Alvira Patterson). Alvira appears in the 1860 census; Phoebe in 1870. Lowe Phillips website lists them as 2 individuals.
• Burial site of John Patterson & Hannah Stoughton listed by Lowe Phillips as Zion Baptist cemetery, Butler Co. PA; we assume this to be Mt. Zion Baptist in Franklin Twp.
