Williams, 3, born May 1895; son James M. Williams, 1, born May[?] 1898; boarder James Collie[?], 30, born Jan 1870; boarder Archabel[??] Birkie, 28, born Dec 1872, and boarder "Walker Beacher", 25, born Jan 1875. Edmon M. Williams and Mary A. Williams have been married for 8 years. Mary A. Williams has born four children, three of which are still living. All of the Williams family and their parents were born in NC, and the same with Mr. Birkie and Mr. Beacher. Mr. Collie and his parents were born in VA. Edmon M. Williams' occupation is listed as "Cloth Inspector / Mill". Mary A. Williams' occupation is "seamstress." John D. Williams is listed as being in school. Mr. Birkie's occupation is illegible. 2	1910 United States Federal Census, Charlotte Township, Mecklenburg County, NC, Enumeration District 97, Page 4, lines 4-11 lists E. M. Williams, 42, married to Mary A. Williams. They live with six children: son John D. Williams, 17; son William M. Williams, 14; son James M. Williams, 11; son Walker F. Williams, 8; son Lee[?] Otto Williams, 6; and daughter Gertrude Williams, 2. E.M. Williams and Mary A. Williams have been married for 18 years. Mary A. Williams has born seven children, six of which are still living. Everyone and their parents were born in NC. Everyone but Gertrude can speak English. Everyone but Gertrude and Otto can read English. Everyone but Gertrude, Otto, and Walker can write English. All of the children except Gertrude and Otto attended school within the census year. E.M. Williams' occupation is listed as a mail carrier for the postal service. John D. Williams' occupation is listed as a sign painter in a shop. The census page is dated 16 Apr 1910.

4	1930 United States Federal Census, Charlotte Township, Mecklenburg County, NC, Enumeration District 60-36, Page 6, lines 77-83 lists John D. Williams, 37, married to Brady C. Williams, 34, and their five children: son John D. Williams, Jr., 14; son Edmond B. Williams, 13; daughter Vivian C. Williams, 11; son Donald Lee Williams, 3 years and 4 months; and son Robert S. Williams, 2 years and 5 months. The family does not live on a farm. At the time of their marriage, John D. Williams was 21 and Brady C. Williams was 18. John D. Williams, Jr., Edmond B. Williams, and Vivian C. Williams attended school within the census year. Everyone but Donald L. Williams and Robert S. Williams can read and write, and everyone except Robert S. 6	Certificate of Death from the North Carolina State Board of Health, Bureau of Vital Statistics, dated 22 Jan 1956. Name listed as John Dunkin Williams, Sr. Died at his home, 2021 Rosselle Ferry Rd., Charlotte, Mecklenburg Co., NC at the age of 62. He had been living in Charlotte for 57 years. He was a white male, married to Corinna Lowder Williams. He was born 21 Mar 1893 in Montgomery Co., NC. He worked as a sign painter. His father's name was Edmund Williams and his mother was Mary Ann Scarborough. Cause of death was [illegible] embolism. No autopsy was performed. He was buried on 23 Jan 1956 at Oaklawn Cemetery, Mecklenburg Co., NC, by McEwen Funeral Service.
