  • The gravestone for Franklin N. Shiray, son of J. & M, at St. Petersburg Cemetery, is likely for Franklin L., son of James & Polley Shirey. James' family are living next door to his father Samuel Shirey in the 1870 census. "Polly" is a nickname for Mary. The initial discrepancy is unresolved. The gravestone for Franklin N. Shirayis immediately to the right of that for his grandfather, Samuel Shirey.
