*  Per contributor James Voltz, one of ''Jane Stoughton'' (b. 1821) & ''Thomas Boyle'''s children was ''Martha Boyle''(b. ~1840's?) who married ''John Edward Hagan''. They have not been located in the census, but it is said that he was a Missouri farmer.  In the 1880 census of Barber Co. Kansas, Lake City township, the family of ''Thomas B. Hagan'', age 45, lives next to the family of ''Barned(sic) V. Stoughton'', age 61.  The birth date of ''Thomas B. Hagan'' (~1835) puts him in the same generation as ''John Edward Hagan'' and wife ''Martha Boyle''.  Note that his daughter was born in Missouri.
