Susannah Sheffer is not in my direct ancestry. She is the great aunt of James Austin Sheffer and Otis Branfield Sheffer who married Anna Catherine "Annie" Kline and Beulah Gladys Kline; the wives are 1 step removed in the following ways:

Previous enty: Adam Schaffer: 1 male <10, 1 male >45, 1 female 26-44, 1 female >45.
The ages would appear consistent with the families of John Sheffer (36) and Barbara (29) and of John Adam Sheffer (69) and Catherine. There is one extra female under 10 in the John Schaffer household. The other children are Susannah (8), Jacob (6), Adam (5), John (3) and William (1). The child and younger woman in the Adam Schaffer family are not identified.

The female children are Elizabeth(1), Anna(7), Polly(9), and Susannah(18).

7 Gravestone transcriptions, Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Beaver Twp., Clarion Co. PA. Transcribed Sept. 1991 by Elizabeth Wilson Williams and Nancy Beals Walls. In 1991, this abandoned graveyard was found neglected & overgrown, with broken stones & sunken graves. A small area of graves at the front was accessable. (This cemetery has since been cleared of undergrowth.)
