Lines 58-64: Antonio Pellegrino, 48?, lives with his wife Catherine, 48, their daughter Theresa, 18, their son Charles, 14, their son Joeseph, 12, their daughter Anna, 10, and Antonio's mother in law, Marie Abbatemarco, 80. Antonio and Catherine have been married for 22 years. Catherine has given birth to 9 children, 6 of whom still live. Marie is a widow who has given birth to 4 children, all of whom still live. Antonio, Catherine, Theresa, Marie, and their parents were born in southern Italy. Charles, Joseph, and Anna were born in New York. Antonio immigrated in 1892. His naturalization status is illegible. Catherine, Theresa, and Marie immigrated in 1896. Everyone can speak English except Marie, who's primary language is Italian. Antonio is a mason. Theresa is a weaver at a mill. Lines 90-94: Anthony Pellegrino, 49, lives with his wife Catherine, 59, their daughter Annie, 19, their grandson Patsy Pellegrino, 11, and their granddaughter Catherine Sciallo, 9. Anthony immigrated to the United States in 1890 and became a naturalized citizen in 1895. The Catherine Pellegrino is also a naturalized citizen. Annie, Patsy, and Catherine Sciallo attended school this year. Anthony, Annie, and Patsy can read and write, neither of the Catherines can. Anthony and Catherine were born in Italy and Italian is their native language. The children were all born in New York. Patsy and Catherine Sciallo's parents were born in Italy. Everyone can speak English except for Catherine Sciallo. Anthony is a painter in the construction industry, Annie works as an "operator" at a waist factory. The family lives at 277 Madison St., Hempstead, NY.

Editor's note: The grandson Patsy Pellegrino and granddaughter Catherine Sciallo are likely to be Pasquale Sciallo and Catarina Sciallo, son and daughter of Maria Pellegrino, daughter of Anthony and Catherine. This census was taken just a year after Pasquale and Catarina's mother died of influenza.

Lines 8-10: Jason? Pellegrino, 25, lives with his wife Millie, 25, and their son Anthony, 5. Jason and Anthony were born in the US, Millie was born in Italy and has been in the US for 19 years. They are all US citizens. Jason is a painter. They live at 314 Jefferson St.
Lines 11-14: At the same address, Anthony Pellegrino, 55, lives with his wife Katherine, 57, their nephew Patsy Pellegrino, 16, and their(?) cousin Vito Pinto, 26. Anthony and Katherine were born in Italy. He has been in the US for 34 years, she for 31 years. Patsy was born in the US. Vito was born in Italy and has been in the US for 5 years. Anthony works in a grocery store. Patsy is a store clerk.

Lines 62-72: There are four families living at the same address (312 Jefferson St.). The first family is Anthony Pellegrino, 60, widower, and his granddaughter Catterina Sciallo, 18, single. He was born in Italy as were his parents, she was born in NY and her parents were born in Italy. Anthony is the proprietor of (illegible (farmer?)). He immigrated to the US in 1890(?).

The second family is Antonio's son, Joseph Pellegrino, 32, his wife Carmella Pellegrino, 30, and their son Anthony Pellegrino, 10. Joseph and Carmella have been married for 11 years. Everyone was born in NY, Joseph and Carmella's respective parents were all born in Italy. Joseph works as a painter.

The third family is Antonio's daughter, Anna Lanzilotto, 30, and husband Ben Lanzilotto, 30, and their son Ben Lanzilotto, 9. Everyone was born in NY, Ben Sr. and Anna's parents were born in Italy. Ben Sr. is the proprietor of a garage.

The fourth family is Carmelo Garito, 42, widower, his daughter Elenora Garito, 16, and his son John H. Garito, 15. Carmelo was born in Italy as were his parents. The children were born in NY and both their parents were born in Italy. Carmelo works as a plasterer in a building construction business. He immigrated to the US in 1905.
