On Novermber 2nd, 2002, we held out annual meeting at Robb Hermes' house in White Rock.
Robb carved a rocket pumpkin at the party and there was the usual rocket video review,
door prizes, food, and fun. Robb flew his Der V3 in a night launch configuration twice
in his back yard. The model had a bright strobe unit that illuminates the plastic nose.
We also held our club elections. The new officers are:
President: Robb Hermes
Vice President: Mouser Williams
Treasurer: Joyce Guzik
NAR Section Senior Advisor: Tom Beach
Ombudsman: Robin

The rocket looks a little odd because the camera shutter was open longer than the
flash was on, so the exhaust trail seems to go up higher than the bottom of the rocket.
Also, the strobe went off while the sutter was open, leaving a strange ghosted nosecone.

The first flight landed on Robb's roof and he had to go up and retrieve it.
The second flight landed in a tree, where it stayed overnight.
