1 1930 United States Federal Census, Berryhill Township, Mecklenburgh County, NC, Enumeration District 60-45, Supervisor's District 7, Page 7, lines 62-71 lists Mack H. King, 38, married to Grace King, 38. They live with their eight children: son Andrew King, 13; daughter Robbie King, 12; son Mack H. King, Jr., 10; daughter Jetta King, 8; daughter Grace King, 6; son Henry C. King, 2; son Yates King, 1; and son Paul King, 1. The family does not live on a farm. Mack H. King and Grace King were married when they were both 23. Andrew, Robbie, Mack Jr., and Jetta had attended school since Sept. 1, 1929. Everyone but the four youngest children can read and write English; everyone but the five youngest can speak English. Robbie, Mack Jr., Jetta, young Grace, and Henry were born in SC; everyone else and everyone's parents in NC. Mack's job is listed as a night watchman at a steel plant. This census is dated April 17, 1930.

Mack King, 48, married to Grace, 48, living with six children: son Mack Jr., 20, daughter Jetta, 18, daughter Grace, 16, son Henry, 12, son Yates, 11, and son Paul, 11. Mack Sr., the elder Grace, Paul, and Yates were all born in NC. The other children were born in SC. Mack Sr. is a plumber at King & ovecash. Mack Jr. is a truck driver at A & F Transfer. Jetta is a seamer at a hosiery mill. They live on Wilkinson Blvd.

Nancy Little King, 76, of Charlotte died peacefully at her home on April 20, 2012. She was born March 16, 1936, in Iredell County to the late Roy P. and Brita Moose Little. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Paul King, Sr. She was a homemaker and a long-time member of Homestead United Methodist Church. She is survived by her sons, Mark Randall King and John P King, Jr.; and brothers, Shirley Little and Roy Little Jr. A Memorial Service is being planned for a future date and time.
