13 Obituary of Maria Kline Richards, news source /date not given; submitted by Cammy Shreffler

Mrs. Maria Richards died quite suddenly at her home on Wood street, this place, a few minutes before 12 o'clock on last Thursday night, aged 63 years. Her death was the result of a stroke of paralysis which she suffered less than two hours previously. Deceased was among the old and well known residents of the town and for her industry and integrity was esteemed by all who knew her. She leaves a family of grown up children, her husband having been dead many years. Her children are Mrs. W. J. Brush, George Richards and Miss Mary Richards, of this place, and A. C. Richards, of Stockton, California. They have the sympathy of all who xxxxx them in their affliction. The funeral services occurred Sunday afternoon. Dr. J. S. Elder, her pastor, officiated after which the remains were laid to rest in Clarion cemetery.
