- Per the "Commemorative BiographicalRecord of Central Pennsylvania", Emanuel Slougenhaupt married Susanna Kline. Emanuel had a sister Barbara Slougenhaupt married to a Harry Kline. Susanna Kline had a brother Harry Kline who married a Barbara Slougenhaupt. Apparently, siblings married siblings.
