Jacob Klein, son of Peter Klein and grandson of Philip Wendel Klein married Susanna Gross, a daughter of Peter Gross, Esq. of Whitehall Twp. She was born 3 Aug. 1785 and died Oct. 14, 1872. They had 14 children. Jacob and Susanna are buried at Unkonville.

- Jacob Klein, son of John Jacob Klein, is mentioned among the 14 children listed in "History of Lehigh County PA", but is not among the six sons listed in "Histories of the Counties of Lehigh and Carbon". This suggests that the child Jacob possibly died young.
