Anna Grebenstein is a tentative Direct Line ancestor. There is a Claus Schindewolf married to an Anna Grebenstein in the Frankershausen church records. Their daughter Anna Eliesabeth Schindewolf was born in 1773. Our Jacob Schindewolf, birthdate unknown, married Dorothea Rehbein who was born in 1769. Jacob Schindewolf and Anna Eliesabeth Schindewolf appear to be the same generation, and to both have fathers named Claus Schindewolf. Claus Schindewolf married Anna Grebenstein. Their daughter was Anna Eliesabeth Schindewolf b. 22 Oct 1773, baptized 24 Oct 1773. Anna Eliesabeth married on 22 April 1796 to Johannes Kuhnemuth (b. 29 Sept 1771), baptized same day, goddfather Johannes Kuhnemuth, "the brother of the father". Johannes Kuhnemuth d. 15 Nov 1833.
