Should I be concerned that no one at the early voting place asked to see my ID? Or my voter registration card? They asked me to write down my name and address on a little form, sign it, and handed me a ballot.

That's what happens every time I vote. I don't even have a voter registration card. I never knew they even existed.
That is pretty much how it works. They have a list they check against and if your name is on the list at the right address you are safe. Hope you voted for the right people.
Kim and I were in Espanola this weekend helping canvas - Obamanos! as they say. Given how difficult it was to find some of the addresses, I wonder how well that system works in rural areas. Apparently the county re-numbered a bunch of streets recently too.
Everybody remember to vote Perot.
