My lame lab travel pool laptop doesn't have an SD card reader. I'm so used to having my regular lab travel laptop (the one I own, that has an SD card reader, and that I am no longer allowed to use for travel) that I didn't think about bringing a card reader. So you don't get to see pictures of the Frauenkirche or the transparent factory or the Dresden Marathon or anything. Until later.

My crappy Thinkpad R61e has the same problem.
But that portable hard drive I use for dumping memory cards full of photos happens to work as a card reader, too. So I bring my laptop, the drive, and a USB cable, and it saves me from having to fire up the laptop to dump photos, and it also saves me from having to bring the wall charger for the hard drive (it only lasts ~12 runs or so).

Um. So somehow I hit '=' instead of '-' and now my signature looks like something it shouldn't. Lovely.
