Milkman: it turns out that, in an embarrassing mistake, Mars had already been digitally remastered by George Lucas as practice for the re-release of Star Wars. They only figured this out a year into Nina's program, but it turned out that Earth was available.

She'll be adopting her new reflective gold color scheme this weekend...

Mastering Earth is a bigger feat anyway - it can be rather tricky.

I've still got the source code, but the AIM module I was sitting on rev'd underneath me and broke all the interface contracts. I get the feeling I'd have to rewrite it (certainly the synchronization model) from scratch.
