Nina and I rolled a single game of bowling today, and she beat me! Her best game ever was enough to beat my mediocre game. I bet she thinks she's hot shit. But since I know she reads this, I'll just remind my gentle readership that I rule.
Ever since Brent told me the secret of the slow roll, I've gotten a lot more precise with my bowling. However, my strike percentage has basically gone to zero. I haven't had a strike in at least 4 games. Almost all of my balls go slightly off-center and I get tons and tons of 9's and spares. No strikes.

Spares are the key to the game. Stikes are nice, but without spares you're never going to consistantly do well. Here's another tip. Keep your shoulders parallel to the foul line. Many people rotate their shoulders to compensate the weight of the ball and the swing, but if you rotate your shoulders then you need to compesate with your arm, which is not accurate at all. Your arm should always move like a pendelum, that's how it's most natural and easiest to consitantly move. If you're trying to move it sideways as well because your shoulders aren't parallel to the foul line, it becomes much harder to throw the ball where you want it. This is something I see people do all the time and is probably the one thing that, if corrected, would help people's score quite a bit.
i am hot shit. all i need are little finger holes in the ball and i'll be wiping the floor with your ass, beeatch. bring it on.
