it's getting down to crunch-time on this midterm, but i don't know what to study. memorization isn't useful because it's open book. so i read through the book and noticed where each topic was... and that's about it.

molvig is back, and i called him today. i managed to BS my way around the fact that i hadn't studied all week. told him i was studying for my midterm. los alamos has "committed to my funding" which basically means that i still don't have any money, but i'm guarenteed to get it. molvig says all that needs to be worked out are "the details. famous last words."

so tomorrow, we'll see if i am going to flunk out of MIT or what.
