spring crew started today, so tom got up at 5:30 to go. being the light sleeper that i am, i woke up to... and never went back to sleep. i gave up on trying to snooze and got out of bet at 6:30am. after breakfast and a shower and some email and some procrastinating, it was still not quite 9:00am.
being used to waking up at 11 or noon, i didn't quite know what to do with myself. the weather was great, so i went for a little walk. actually, it turned into a huge walk. i walked from MIT to paul revere's grave (downtown). i don't know how far that is, but it's way out there.
70 degrees today. sitting for 2 hours of hot dosimetrey action was not fun.
i emailed provizer back and forth throughout the day. i'm going to volunteer some time (what??) to his website, and in return he's going to lend/give me some of his leftover gear from free radio allston. his belden antenna line and a frequency counter. probably $150-$200 worth of stuff. so that's pretty cool.
plus, he wants to meet and talk about broadcasting strategies. that's really cool.
